The surroundings of the Mont Blanc massif, just next to Beaufortain, allow you to go mountaineering "far from the crowds" of the Chamonix valley. Here in the Chapieux valley, behind Roselend, the high mountain is calm and uncrowded. Go with a High Mountain Guide and climb the pretty Dôme de Neige des Glaciers: the first day will allow you to reach the Robert Blanc refuge to spend the night. On the second day, after rising at dawn, you will climb the Snow Dome through the imposing glacier glacier, before descending into the valley. This day is intended for beginners but in good physical condition (several hours of walking at altitude). 1/2 board at the refuge to be expected in addition.
