Arêches / Beaufort - Berger's Cross and Fairies Lake

Departure :
From Arêches, take the RD218b to Le Barrage de Saint-Guerin. At the dam belvedere, take the first road on the left (under the quarry). Follow the main road always straight. At the end of the paved road, turn right and make 2 switchbacks on the stony track. Park at Lac des Fées.

From Lac des Fées, follow the path (marked in red and yellow) to Cormet d'Arêches. From there, take the path to the left which climbs and winds over several "bumps" to the Shepherd's Cross. This is visible from Cormet.
Return to Lac des Fées by the same route.
