Discovery of the traditional habitat of Beaufortain. This circuit on a sunny slope will take you up a little to admire the village of Beaufort, the plain of Marcôt, the Grand-Mont and the Arêches valley.
We are at the foot of the slope that Roger Frison-Roche called "Le Versant du Soleil", each hamlet vying for the first glimpse of the sun. Behind you,
under the Outray mountain, going down, the hamlets of Péchat, Outards, Grand Praz (see: "The Grand Praz Loop), on the right, Les Prés,
Curtillets. Many barns are scattered on the slope in the middle of the meadows.

0/ Departure: Beaufort, park at Place Roger Frison-Roche. 1/ Opposite the Tourist Office, follow the direction of Les Curtillets 2/ go through Dessous Le Biollet and Dessus Le Biollet. 3/ From the hamlet of Curtillets, head towards Le Plan Bas. 4/ From this hamlet return to Beaufort going down via Les Cours le Haut, Les Cours and Les Naix.
