Departure :
From Beaufort, go up to the Roselend dam via the RD925. At the Col de Méraillet, turn left towards Cormet de Roselend. Park near the Plan de la Lai Refuge (parking 20 m after the refuge).
The departure takes the alpine road in front of the Plan de la Lai refuge. Take the direction of the Grande Berge through the Plan Mya refuge to reach the La Petite Berge building. Continue on the path to reach the ruins of the Grande Berge. From there, climb onto the grassy prominence on the right to admire the panorama. Return by the same route.
Possibility of stopping at La Petite Berge to shorten the walk by one hour.
