The hamlet of Curtillets is very sunny, and the view of the Arêches valley and the surrounding area is exceptional. This local loop will be a good warm-up

The route starts from Place Frison Roche in Beaufort and takes the Domelin road. The climb is not very technical, mainly on the road to Domelin to take a steeper path before reaching the hamlet of Curtillets. The crossing and descent are done on a more technical trail allowing you to progress in mountain bike riding. After Les Grands-Praz, you will find the D70 which joins the village of Beaufort.

Departure: Place Frison Roche 1/ Head towards Albertville to the rescue center. 2/ To the left of the rescue center, take the track that joins Marzellaz. and continue on the Domelin road. 3/ Continue on a steeper path to the hamlet of Curtillets. 4/ take the D70 for a few meters before taking the path above the road. 5/ A pretty path passing above Cours and Grands-Praz joins the D70 reaching the village of Beaufort.
