You will need to take a paid chairlift ride beforehand. The trail starts right at the top of the chairlift. Along the way, you'll find the Les Arolles mountain restaurant and a picnic and relaxation area (deckchairs and hammocks) with a viewpoint.
Snowshoes are essential.
Topo / step by step
Start: Piapolay chairlift arrival point. 1/Start below the Les Arolles restaurant. 2/Then head up towards the Grande Combe piste, to the right of the Marie Bochet piste. 3/You will reach the summit at the intersection of the Grande Combe and Pas des Vaches pistes, where picnic tables are located. 4/The return is along the shoulder of the Grande Combe piste, which leads back to the Piapolay chairlift arrival point.
