The Stone Step

On Sunday, January 11, 2026, more than 500 runners will compete on courses as technical and difficult as those offered during the Pierra Menta, with lots of handling (series of climbs and descents), and steep gradients to climb as quickly as possible!
Organised over a single day, this individual event allows participants to confront the unique terrain of this alpine massif, with steep climbs and challenging descents, marking a true celebration of ski touring.

The concept is simple: 1 day – 1 stage – 2 routes.
Ski mountaineering enthusiasts will compete against the elite of the sport in a festive atmosphere. Indeed, some of the biggest names in the discipline will be on the starting line.
This stage of the Pierre will offer two routes:
• Course A with 1 meters of elevation gain for runners aged 800 to 21
• Course B with 900 meters of elevation gain for runners aged 15 to 99

Prices: €40 for courses A and B

Registration includes the bib and timing, the ascent by ski lifts (if necessary) and a snack at noon.
