Want to escape the heatwave, crowded beaches and recharge your batteries in the heart of nature? This summer, you will find what you are looking for in Arêches-Beaufort! Here is a selection of activities* that you absolutely must try!

1. Hikes around high altitude lakes
The 10 lakes which surround Arêches-Beaufort are ideal places for hiking and above all panoramic sites not to be missed under any circumstances: the 3 large lakes of the Roselend, Saint-Guérin and Gittaz dams or even the lakes of the Fairies, Tournant and the Mirantin with its adorable little chalet ... easily accessible by hike for the whole family from the youngest to the oldest.

- Brassa Lake from the top Piapolay chairlift : an easy loop of only 250 m in altitude thanks to the ski lifts!
– Storm lakes: a preserved haven of peace and calm assured in this enchanting setting (departing from Saint Guérin)
2. The Stand Up Paddle:

3. Fishing between rivers and mountain lakes
Beware, Beaufortain trout are not born from the last rain… Patience, calm and finesse will be required for a well-filled basket! You can enjoy some fresh air with friends by the lake or, for the more adventurous, by venturing into the Doron gorges. Courses for beginners, easy to access, preserved, steep, No-Kill... Each fisherman will find his account to try his luck.

4. Family activities at the Marcôt leisure center
A mountain pond, a beach lined with grass, trees offering appreciable shade when the sun is blazing. If children want to have fun, under the supervision of adults, a park made up of inflatable structures and other play areas complement the picnic area.
Activities: bi-cross, table tennis, petanque, volleyball, minigolf, archery, play area for mountain biking initiation.

5. And for the more adventurous…The freshness of the Beaufort Cooperative cellars!
At the Beaufortain cooperative, discover all the secrets of Beaufort and its territory via a sensory approach and original tools (smell boxes, models, sound rackets, films, etc.). Opportunity to see the production of Beaufort every day, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (except Sundays from November to early December).
The tour of the cellars begins with the basement and ends with the appetizer of the Beaufort, passing through the specifications and the manufacturing stages. In the heart of the cellars, the temperature is constantly at 9 degrees to guarantee the proper ripening of the cheeses.
