The Grand-Mont chairlift, an iconic feature of the Arêches-Beaufort resort, whisks you to the Cuvy plateau at 1700m altitude in just a few minutes. During your ascent, you'll have time to admire the breathtaking panorama: Mont Blanc towering over the Col du Pré, the Grande Journée peak and its companions, the Mirantin and its Légette mountain, and of course, below, the legendary Grand-Mont slope, a renowned venue for ski competitions at the beginning of the last century.
Pedestrians, hikers, mountain bikers, strollers, and even paragliders will appreciate the many opportunities this chairlift offers. The "swirling lake" is a must-see for hikers in Arêches. It's hard to miss the mountain bike trails of "La Bleue Arêchoise" or "La Quefinette" to explore the area.

The Piapolay chairlift at Planay allows you to reach an altitude of 1900m effortlessly. You arrive at the foot of the Arolles refuge and discover a viewpoint just as impressive as that of the Cuvy plateau. By taking a few more steps, you even discover the majestic Pierra Menta.
Here you will find the starting point for several very pleasant hikes such as “Lac Brassa”. The chairlift also gives access, for mountain bikers, to the well-known “Toutafond” route.

You can purchase a pass at the ticket offices located at the foot of each ski lift.
If you already have rechargeable plan holdersAs with winter, remember to bring them.
Support materials are also available for purchase at the ticket counters for €2.
The chairlifts are free for children under 5 years old.
