Emblematic chairlift of the Arêches-Beaufort resort, the Grand-Mont allows you to reach the Cuvy plateau at an altitude of 1700m in a few minutes. During your ascent, you will have time to contemplate the panorama which opens up to you, the Mont-Blanc which dominates the Col du Pré, the Grande Journée and its acolytes, the Mirantin and its legette and of course, below , the legendary Grand-Mont piste, Mecca of ski competitions at the beginning of the last century.
Pedestrians, hikers, mountain bikers, strollers or even paragliders will appreciate the many opportunities offered by this chairlift. The "rotating lake" is a must in hiking in Arêches. Difficult to miss mountain bike trails of “la Bleue Arêchoise” or “la Quefinette”, to discover the estate.

The Piapolay chairlift at Planay allows you to reach an altitude of 1900m effortlessly. You arrive at the foot of the Arolles refuge and discover a viewpoint just as impressive as that of the Cuvy plateau. By taking a few more steps, you even discover the majestic Pierra Menta.
Here you will find the starting point for several very pleasant hikes such as “Lac Brassa”. The chairlift also gives access, for mountain bikers, to the well-known “Toutafond” route.
