Its impressive view of the Montblanc, its many hamlets and their chapels, its alpine chalets ... make the Hauteluce valley one of the most beautiful and unspoiled in the Alps. In this natural setting reigns calm, charm, authenticity and conviviality. Skiing enthusiasts will also find their paradise here between theDiamond Space (from the village, via the Col des Saisies ...) and the ski area of Les Contaminated Montjoie (from Belleville, via the Col du Joly…).

High place of Savoyard heritage, you can also discover a remarkable baroque church, many chapels, old chalets and mazots in planks and visit the Ecomuseum. In the center of the village sits the tree of liberty, an extraordinary lime tree planted there during the French Revolution.

Villard-sur-Doron, Bisanne 1500

Charming Savoyard village located in Beaufortain between Albertville and Beaufort. It is good to stroll in the small alleys between the gardens, the houses and the orchards. Saint Peter's Church deserves a little visit. In the heart of the village is the church, rebuilt in 1672 and whose restoration in 1999 essentially restored the decorations of 1852 made of floral decorations and pastel tones. As for the bell tower, it has been altered several times because of the wars but also by the choice of certain wealthy jewelers from the village in the XNUMXth century.

Hanging on the foothills of Mont Bisanne, facing south to 1500m altitude, the station Bisanne 1500 offers a grandiose panorama of the Beaufortain and  Mont Blanc.

Queige, the countryside in the mountains

In this privileged territory of Beaufortain, the country of "Beaufort cheese", prince of Gruyères, take the time to admire the varied landscapes, the habitats steeped in history, the 7 chapels of Queige and its Ste Agathe church (open every day in summer), not to mention the many oratories.

Queige is the first town you come across in Beaufortain coming from Albertville. Located in lush greenery, this land of a thousand sources offers visitors a haven of peace that stretches over 3300 hectares on either side of the Doron. The capital is 600 m above sea level and the highest point is Mount Mirantin at 2460 m. This village is also the starting point for beautiful walks, on foot in summer, on snowshoes or ski touring in winter. Breathtaking nature and landscapes for a holiday or a stay in Savoie Mont Blanc, in the great outdoors, in complete freedom.
