Whether you are an experienced snow sports enthusiast or discovering the joys of snow for the first time, our resort offers you an unforgettable experience in the heart of the mountains. Skiing, whatever its variation, is a fun and exhilarating sport, however it involves certain responsibilities that we encourage you to take seriously to ensure a safe and enjoyable practice.

1. When skiing, take all your precautions

Before hitting the slopes, make sure you are equipped adequate equipment, such as skis, poles, suitable shoes and in good condition. And of course, a quality helmet for your safety. Adjusting your bindings and checking your equipment should not be taken lightly. Do not hesitate to have your equipment checked by one of our equipment rental companies.

2. Respect for the slopes and other skiers

Courtesy on the slopes is essential to guarantee everyone's enjoyment. Respect the rules of conduct by skiing responsibly and avoiding dangerous behavior. This includes, for example, giving priority to downstream skiers, not blocking narrow passages, and reporting any emergency situations.

The discovery of vast expanses of virgin snow offers a unique experience for skiers eager for adventure. However, this exceptional freedom comes with crucial responsibilities that every off-piste enthusiast must respect.

  • Avalanche training: Learn to assess avalanche risk, recognize warning signs, and adopt group safety strategies. Prevention is the best insurance.
  • Communication and risk management: Going off-piste in a group is often a rewarding experience, but communication is key.
  • Scheduling and reporting: Before venturing off-piste, let someone know your planned route, your return time, and keep a cell phone charged.

Apprehension of all these good practices is not an easy thing when you are not trained and used to being in the middle of the mountains in winter. This is why we strongly encourage our clients to be supervised by experienced professionals to maximize the safety and enjoyment of your off-piste experience.
