The Col de la Croix du Bonhomme refuge is located at the crossroads of the Tour du Mont-Blanc, the Tour du Beaufortain and the GR5. You can come and taste organic and local food while enjoying a breathtaking view.

The Col de la Croix du Bonhomme refuge enjoys a central place in the heart of the Alps. On the Tour du Mont-Blanc stage, at an altitude of 2443 m, the sun sets on a ridge populated by ibex. The two young caretakers accompanied by their intrepid team strive to offer you quality and local food, and they invest in environmentally friendly approaches. The impact of such a refuge and these hiking trails that crisscross the mountain are significant, and this refuge tries to put the authentic mountain back at the heart of its concerns. Without road access, you can get there by different paths, benefiting at all times from a magical environment. At the shelter, ask yourself how such a structure works and ask us your questions. It happens on the way when you see us carrying the food on our backs, but there are multiple steps that deserve your attention and we will be happy to explain them to you.
- Dry toilets in project.
- The refuge has banned the use of the generator.
- We use the spring water which is upstream of the refuge.
Maybe this summer,
