In winter you can come cross-country skiing (the refuge is located in the Nordic area of Grand Naves 73260), snowshoeing, ski touring, dog sledding.
The refuge offers a capacity of 38 places divided into 4 dormitories of 6 places, 2 of 5 places and 2 of 2 places.

Outside the opening periods (guarded refuge) contact Pascale to collect the keys to the winter refuge which is next to the new one.
Activities during the February holidays in the Rhône Alpes region: 3 astronomy evenings.
