A beautiful festive Sunday in an authentic and friendly spirit to celebrate Arêches and its heritage.
As every year, the second weekend of August sees the Folk Festival of the village of Arêches. The first edition took place in 1960 to celebrate the centenary of Savoy's annexation to France. The festivities include a brass band aperitif, a parade of floats with a different local theme each year, fireworks, a grand ball, folk groups, and other entertainment. Throughout the festival, local cuisine is showcased.
