Arêches-Beaufort is recognized as one of the essential freeride spots in Savoie Mont Blanc. It is therefore quite natural that we will once again host a stage of the Freeride World Qualifier and the Junior Tour in 2024.
The Qualifier and the Junior Tour are major events whose competitions are classified according to their level of difficulty, 1, the easiest open to all, to the 4, more technical and reserved for athletes who have already proven themselves on the 1, 2 and 3*. Each competition earns points for participating skiers based on their ranking. The best ranked at the end of winter will be able to enter the Freeride World Tour the following winter.
The Arêches-Beaufort stage, ranked 1*, is the opportunity for all amateur freeriders to line up for a renowned event and challenge their friends on a side kept secret and revealed at the last moment! For this edition, Arêches-Beaufort also offers the youngest the opportunity to take to the face with different categories, from 14 years old for male skiers and from 16 years old for all (skiing, snowboarding, male and female).
100 places are open with two panels of judges for an adult (Qualifier) and junior ranking! Registrations are only online and can be found on freerideworldtour.com
But the competition is also the occasion for a festive and friendly weekend around the freeride spirit.
