The Arêches-Beaufort ski area offers an undeniable meteorological advantage. Its geographical location, on the edge of the pre-Alps and close to Mont-Blanc, as well as its exposure, give it privileged snow conditions throughout the season. Very quickly adopted by professional riders and video production companies for the production of their powder segments, Arêches-Beaufort has become a benchmark in the world of freeride skiing and snowboarding.
5 marked and secure slopes are never groomed to practice freeride in peace.
From the top of the ski lifts, other unsecured areas are easily accessible such as Les Combettes, Lac Tournant or Plan des Planes. To access it, call a professional and equip yourself with the essential safety equipment (Avalanche Victim Detector, shovel & probe) that you will have learned to use before your outing. Consult our courses and activities to improve your skills in the discipline.
