Rock climbing Beaufort school "Roger Frison-Roche"
Enjoy the site's 17 routes in complete safety, ranging from 3a to 6a +. An ideal place to discover the practice, from 6 years old, and to prepare for the massive cliffs of the massif. The cliff is very well equipped (a pin sealed every meter), perfect for learning to climb in the lead. A picnic table awaits you at the foot of the tracks. When arriving in Beaufort from Albertville, the cliff is clearly visible to the left of the road at the entrance to the village, just before the swimming pool.

La Pierra Menta, mythical rock climbing
After a beautiful hike as an approach walk, emblematic and exceptional cliffs open up to you, with the Pierra Menta as a highlight. This characteristic “pebble”, planted in the middle of the Beaufortain massif, is a characteristic sign that we will not miss and a real invitation to climb!
The Pierra Menta boasts around twenty climbing routes on its slopes , including the legendary "Voie des Parisiens" and "Le bonheur des autres." Its vertiginous north ridge is climbed in a handful of pitches, each as magnificent as the last, culminating in a breathtaking summit finish. For those wishing to link the pitches without the approach hike, the Refuge du Presset offers a perfect base camp with accommodation right at the foot of the routes.
Small monolith of attitude, we will appreciate going out on this beautiful summit, a bit like on the back of a gigantic elephant. A relaxing setting and a magnificent view.

Among the walls not to be missed: the Aiguille de la Nova , the highest of the three walls of the Presset trilogy (along with the Tête de Lion and the Pierra Menta), the cliff of the Combe de la Neuva , a magnificent rock with a very vertical profile and beautiful overhangs for the most experienced climbers with around fifty very well-equipped routes…
