Les Envers is a small hamlet at the foot of the north facing slope. The word "envers" (ubac), as opposed to "place" (adret), designates a slope facing north. During the walk, you will cross the Poncellamont torrent, which comes straight from the St Guérin dam. You will wind your way, sometimes in the forest, sometimes with a magnificent view of Arêches, the Beaufort valley and the Col du Pré.
At the end of the hamlet, the route can continue along a forest track to the Cuvy plateau, but the walk then becomes a real hike! Before committing to it, we advise you to inquire at the Tourist Office about the conditions of access.
