Loop commonly called Le tour de la Frasse, which crosses 3 hamlets starting from Arêches: Les Carroz, La Frasse, Le Praz. It's a bit like a Sunday walk, but it's also a way of discovering the habitat, the architecture, the living environment.
Loop commonly called Le tour de la Frasse, which crosses 3 hamlets starting from Arêches: Les Carroz, La Frasse, Le Praz. It's a bit like a Sunday walk, but it's also a way of discovering the habitat, the architecture, the living environment.

This walk is done on the road only, starting from Arêches, favor the direction of Les Carroz, La Frasse for the sun which leaves earlier on this side. The view is always magnificent on the Roche Parstire. A very shaded passage awaits you just before the hamlet of La Frasse, bring warm clothes! Visit the chapel of La Frasse (open every day). The next hamlet is Le Praz, particular with its main lane lined with very beautiful traditional chalets, the village oven and the chapel (closed), at the end of the lane. You will end the ride on a straight line to Arêches with a view of the Planay valley, the Légette du Grand-Mont and to its right, the Col de la Bâthie.
